The problem

You’re not imagining it.

We collected 54 public quotes from 51 people, most of them creators, about brand deals and getting paid. Here are a few, word for word.

  • “brands will hit YOU up, beg for a video, love the content, and then just vanish when it's time to pay. i've literally had to send 5+ follow up emails for a single invoice.”

  • “They expect you to give them their content within a specific time frame, … But when it comes to getting paid, I have to wait the net 60 or the net 90 [days]. And after that, you really wait another net 30 because you’re still having to chase them for your money.”

What Dealtab does: Dealtab tracks every due date and counts the days late.

  • “what do you do when it’s expired? … I’ve been tagging brands as collaborators for the duration of the term, then removing the tag as it expires - though I’m not sure if this is pedantic.”

The product

From first DM to paid, on one tab.

Five screens. No setup beyond typing in your deals.

Board

Every deal, from first DM to paid.

Seven stages, one board. Each card shows the one date that matters next, in words, and the late ones carry a red rail you can’t miss.

Pipeline board with demo data: In production, Delivered, Invoiced and Paid columns with their totals; brands owe $12,050, $2,750 of it overdue; paid this year $10,200.
Demo data
  1. Column totals, always visible
  2. Days overdue, in words

Deal page

The whole deal on one page, not in four inboxes.

Fee, net terms, deliverables, usage rights and exclusivity, the invoice and every chase, with a timeline that keeps the history.

Deal page for Verdant Home (demo data): $2,400, In production, net 30; next up the overdue unboxing reel; three deliverables and a timeline.
Demo data
  1. What’s due next
  2. Every change, logged

Calendar

Deadlines and usage windows, before they bite.

Deliverables, invoice due dates and the day a brand’s usage rights or exclusivity ends, on one calendar. That’s when you re-price, renew, or finally say yes to their competitor.

Calendar for October 2026 with demo data: deliverables, invoice due dates and usage-rights ends; one overdue reel outlined in red.
Demo data
  1. Overdue stays red until it’s done
  2. Usage rights end, on the same grid

Money

What you’ve earned. What you’re owed. Who’s late.

Paid this year up top, then what brands owe you, split into not-yet-due and overdue. It’s the sum you used to do at midnight.

Money view with demo data: paid this year $10,200; brands owe $12,050, of which $2,750 overdue and $9,300 not yet due; the share card and pipeline by stage.

  1. Overdue, split out
  2. Share your year

Reminders and chase

The awkward email, already written.

Dealtab emails you 3 days and 1 day before a deliverable, the day before an invoice is due, then 1, 7 and 14 days late. One click drafts a polite chase with the invoice attached. Nothing goes to a brand until you say so.

A polite chase email to Cedar & Salt (demo data), drafted with the invoice PDF attached and a Send chase button; beside it, the 14-days-overdue reminder email Dealtab sends to the creator.
Reminder email to the creator: Cedar & Salt is 14 days late on $2,750.00, with an Open invoice button.
Demo data
  1. The reminder comes to you
  2. Sends only after you confirm

Assistants

Ask your assistant what’s due.

Connect Dealtab to ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or Cursor, then ask “what’s due this week?” or say “add the Juniper Tea deal”. It reads and updates your real board, and it can’t email a brand unless you allow it.

Works with ChatGPT · Claude · Grok · Cursor · Claude Code · and any app compatible with the Model Context Protocol® (MCP)

Claude works on every plan (Free: one custom connector). ChatGPT needs Business, Enterprise or Edu to add or change deals (Pro can read). Grok needs a Business or Enterprise workspace. Cursor, Claude Code and any REST client work with a Dealtab API key. Dealtab doesn’t run an AI model itself; your assistant does the thinking. (Plans as of Oct 15, 2026.)

You: Add the Juniper Tea deal, $2k, reel due Nov 4, net 30

Added Juniper Tea to Lead: $2,000, net 30.

Reel due Wed, Nov 4. It’s on your board and your calendar, and you’ll get reminders 3 days and 1 day before.

Nothing was sent to the brand.

Example: asking an assistant to add a deal. Juniper Tea is a fictional brand.

What it can do

Read:
what’s due, deals, invoices, the money summary.
Write:
add deals, deliverables, usage rights and invoices; move stages; mark paid.
Send:
a chase email, and only after a preview you confirm.

Keys are scoped

Read, write and send are separate. Send is off by default, and even with it on, a chase needs a confirmation step first. Revoke a key in Settings any time.

Your year so far

Brands are running a tab. Here’s what they’ve paid.

One tap turns “paid this year” into a 1080×1350 card. Rounded by default, exact if you like, and brand names never.

A note from the founder

Why I’m building Dealtab.

Creators are great at the part brands pay for. The business around it is a different job: terms, deadlines, how long a brand can use your video, and invoices that have to be asked about more than once. Most people run that job from memory, their DMs and a spreadsheet they mean to update. Dealtab is meant to be the one place that remembers it for you.

I’m keeping it small on purpose. It does a few things and tries to do them well, and you stay in charge: reminders come to you, and nothing goes to a brand until you’ve read the draft and said yes.

It’s early. There’s no Gmail import, no payments and no manager seats yet, and I’d rather say so here than have you find out later. If you do brand deals and something is missing or wrong, write to me. It comes straight to me, and I answer every email.

Your data is scoped to your account, with row-level security in the database.

We never email a brand without your confirmation.

Assistant keys are scoped and revocable; send is off by default.

We don’t sell or share your deal data.

Questions, answered plainly.

Does it email my brands without asking?

No. Reminders go to you. When an invoice is overdue, Dealtab can draft a polite chase email to the brand contact with the invoice attached. You see the draft, you can edit it, and it only sends after you confirm. Every single time.

Is my data private?

Your deals, contacts and invoices belong to your account and nobody else’s. Every record is scoped to your user, and row-level security in the database adds a second lock. Dealtab never contacts your brands on its own, and we don’t sell or share your deal data.

How do I cancel?

During the trial there’s nothing to cancel. There’s no card on file, so it just ends. On a paid plan, cancel from Billing, which opens Stripe’s billing portal. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.

Can I use my own currency?

Yes. Each deal and invoice has its own currency, and USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, INR and JPY are built in. Totals stay in their own currency rather than being converted at a guessed rate, so a GBP deal shows up as GBP. The subscription itself is billed in USD.

What if I have an agent or manager?

Dealtab is built for your own account: one login, your deals. If a manager or agency negotiates for you, you can still track the deal, set the agency’s accounts team as the invoice’s bill-to contact, and keep your own record of what you’re owed. Shared seats for managers aren’t in v1.

Does it integrate with Gmail?

Not yet. Gmail and DM inbox integration is planned for v2. For now you add deals by hand: brand, fee, terms and deliverables.

What about payments or escrow?

Not in v1. Dealtab doesn’t touch your money. Brands pay you the way they already do, using the payment details printed on your invoice. Collecting payments through Dealtab is on the v2 list, and Stripe Invoicing is the likely route.

Is the usage-rights clause legal advice?

No. Dealtab includes an optional, editable usage-rights and exclusivity clause template to save you some typing. It’s a general template provided for convenience. Dealtab is not a law firm and does not give legal advice, and using the template doesn’t create an attorney-client relationship. Have a qualified lawyer review any agreement before you sign or send it.
